Two months after solving Case Thirty-One, the Trail Riders Mystery Club is finally settling into life as a real team. The old clubhouse is theirs, the trails are familiar, and for once, Avery, Teo, Priya, Eli, and Cam can simply ride.

Then everything changes.

After an argument with Teo, Cam takes a different road to the clubhouse—and never arrives. Her motorcycle crashes on Miller Creek Road, leaving her bruised, battered, and lucky to have walked away.

But Eli finds something disturbing in the wreckage.

A critical brake bolt is missing.

The deeper the five investigate, the less the crash looks like an accident. Other vehicles around Ashford have suffered suspicious breakdowns. Repair bills do not always match the damage. Cars keep ending up at the same shop. And someone may be creating problems just so they can get paid to fix them.

At the same time, another question refuses to go away: Graham Stone—the man at the center of their first mystery—is suddenly free, and the case against him has quietly disappeared.

As the Trail Riders follow both trails, they uncover new connections to Ashford’s past, another member of the original 1992 club, and evidence that some mysteries were never truly finished.
